Lions Club of Richmond and The Mary Potter Foundation – An Enduring Friendship

Richmond Lions has been supporting the work of the Mary Potter Foundation since 2013, donating $36,000 over the last 13 years. But it’s not just about money, Richmond Lions also buys goods for the Hospice and has donated various items from the warehouse for use in the family dining room and in the Palliative Home Care service.

The ongoing and generous support of Richmond Lions has meant a fully loaded drinks cart in the Hospice every afternoon, beautiful new outdoor furniture in the patient and family garden, new nurse lockers, a television, speakers and a play station and a ceiling hoist!

The tireless hard work of the Lions Volunteers means a better experience for patients and families in Mary Potter Care.

Vicki from the Foundation office said, “we could not do what we do without the support of amazing people like Richmond Lions!”
